This app uses passkeys instead of passwords. A passkey is stored on your device (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a hardware key) and is more secure than a traditional password.
Your browser will prompt you to save a passkey right after you click Continue.
A passkey replaces your password entirely. Your device (phone, tablet, or computer) proves who you are using your fingerprint, face, or PIN — nothing to type, nothing to forget.
Unlike passwords, passkeys are stored only on your devices, not on our servers. They are impossible to guess, steal via breaches, or reuse.
Passkeys are stored in end-to-end encrypted storage (Apple iCloud Keychain or Microsoft's equivalent). Apple and Microsoft cannot read them — they only hold an encrypted copy that only your devices can unlock.
| Feature | Passwords | Passkeys |
|---|---|---|
| Must be remembered | Yes | No |
| Can be stolen in breaches | Yes | No |
| Can be phished | Yes | No |
| Require typing | Yes | No |
| Private from Apple / Microsoft | No | Yes |
You may still continue with a password — we just ask that you read this first.
Passkeys are stored on the device where they are created. To make sure your passkey ends up in the right place:
You must have Windows Hello or a password manager that supports passkeys (RoboForm, 1Password, Dashlane, Keeper, Bitwarden).
Use Safari (not Chrome or Firefox). Make sure you're signed into your Apple ID and that iCloud Keychain is enabled. Touch ID will be used to confirm the passkey.
Open this page directly on your iPhone or iPad to create a passkey there. Scanning a QR code does not work for passkey creation.
Open this page on your Android device to create the passkey there.
